God but does ignorance piss me off
Something spurred me to update today.
Well, truthfully more than one thing.
Firstly i guess its how people cannot and will not listen to each other. Take away the skin colour, the religions and the politicians... and we have people. humans. we are ALL made up of skin, bones, muscle - we are all made up of a complex arrangement of carbon! There is no racial minority, we are all of one race. human.
My next point is these so called world meetings, "United nations". We are not "united". In what kind of world do the countries with the fire power to destroy a nation, have the RIGHT to veto a declaration. What RIGHT do they have to decide whether one country goes to war or not, whether the poor get poorer or not. The UN meetings are merely singular people giving the impression of an equal footing. That all countries are equal. BULLSHIT. out of the hundreds of Resolutions given, VERY few are passed. And ONLY if they benefit more than one country. Why would Brazil care if people are dying in Romania (unless it affected them).
People have forgotten to listen.
We CAN make a change. We CAN forge a new future. But ONLY if we forget the lessons of our political forefathers. Abolish the 'permanent' member privilege of the security council. Abolish the power to veto. and finally allow the world to make a difference, one man cannot choose my future. Involve the people in the choosing of resolutions to pass. Let us teach you for a change.
