hey, long time no see, eh? well, I've been on the computer more lately and decided to update this ol' thing. Most things are still the same - like the fact that i still need to send Allie her probably 2 year old gift and will never get peace until that is done. d'oh.
Well, fer sure two things are different about this post. Its my first post as a high school graduate and its my first post from my very own laptop :) Thus why I've been on more than usual, I can't put this thing down. I'm considering bringing it to Michelle's graduation party today ... not really.

Where did I leave off with my last post? I dunno, I don't think I've informed any one who even cares the slightest about the college-fiasco. It actually turned out to be my favorite deal that I've made in my short, 17 yea existance. Well, you'd think it was unfair if your parents said that you could choose between two schools, then say that you couldn't go to the one you chose, right? My two choices were Bradley - which is a beautiful private school, big for a private school but obviously still rather small about 2 hours away. The second is Northern - a big, dirty state-school that all the crack-addicts from Bartlett High are going to,about 40 min. away. guess which one I chose and guess which my parents chose for me?

yeah, I'm going to Northern. BUT that doesn't mean I caved without a fight. First, my mom said I could chose between the two and gave me like a month to decide. I had to make up my mind by May 1st. So on May 1st she asked me whihc I chose and I said Bradley. She called my dad (who was in New York) to 'verify' and he said fuck that, she's going to Northern. So they want me to go there cause its cheaper. Norhtern's $11,000 after my $1,000 scholarship (that goes up every year) and Bradleys around $18,000 after $10,500 in scholarships. So, yeah, we had this big long fight and finally I said ok, that I would go to northern ... but they had to buy me a car. And they said Ok! So hello little yellow neon (I think. They haven't bought one yet cause but I think they're going to do like on that show - Sweet Sixteen and on my grad/bday party have everyone come look - least i hope they do, that'd be hilarious)! I feel kind of like a spoiled brat, but whatev.

That picture up there is taken from my new cell phone ( I bought it myself, thankyoo). Its pretty sweet - a slider from tmobile. sgh629? or something like that. And my computers a gateway with a 15.4" screen, if anyone was wondering. I don't know, I never like to know what models of things people get but I've been asked what kind this is a few times, so, yeah. I think its a good computer? Its got Vista, though, which my aunt says is bad and I know in those mac vs pc commercials they make fun of it, but, eh, I haven't had any problems. In fact, I'm very happy.

The only dilemma I have to deal with right now is how to spend my grad. money. I actually need need need a new mp3 player, as old DJ's slowly croaking, but I don't know which kind to get. I guess iPod and Zune are the top contenders, but I really don't want all that picture, video, games crap - I just want music space. Plus, I keep feeling like if I wait, something awesome's going to come out. Meh, I don't know, I've got $370 to buy something good,
