Steppin' Out
So school is progressing.
My justice class is a whore so far. I think that this class has a lot of potential to be fun and interesting, and educational, but so far, I think that the prof is butchering the life out of it. I mean, its called 'Urban Police Problems' And here we are doing an assignment where we read an article discussing Sociological Imagination and doing an outline of it. All this in the effort to help us read intellectual articles. ...NO! Bad! Bad! Stop! See, this isn't a reading class, this is URBAN POLICE PROBLEMS. I wanna know about ways cops could do better jobs. If we can't understand the articles, then you might need to dumb it down to an upper-division level of education instead of teaching at a graduate level!

All my other classes are remarkably tolerable, but I will complain about them later. The ol' B'day was saturday. 24, woot.
I spoke in church on Sunday. I've committed to reading something from the bible, and praying a little bit each day, even if its just a verse and a 'rub-a-dub-dub.' I'm just beginning to figure things out and have been extremely distracted. Education scares me sometimes. I'm sometimes not sure what is true and what is crap, especially when you get into philosophy. I'm taking Ethics, Western Religion, Rise of civilization and two history courses next semester. Or so I think.
We'll see how I do this semester.
