Workin' workin'
So I'm getting married in 80 days, and its about time I started a job! My first day today at the UAA bookstore. Grrrrr-eat! It's pretty cool. I'm enjoying the people and making friends with other students. A lot on my plate to do. Poor Beka has a little more than me, but I'm doing my best to lighten her load.
I just signed a lease for an awesome apartment on E 15th right past Twin Dragon... I was really surprised to find it at such a great deal and Beka complained that it was not dumpy enough, so I know that I did a good job. Actually, God came through....seriously...let's give it up. No way I could find a place like that in only a half day of looking.
UPS called me today while I was at work. I'm REALLY hoping to work there. SERIOUSLY! I need that job. I'm getting to the broke side of things but I'm surviving. I think that things will work out if God keeps coming through. I'm just PRAYING. I'm about to tap my savings for the last little bit in the next month if something incredible doesn't happen. UAA Union of Students owes me a significant amount of money and I'm praying all the paperwork goes through to get it back. I'm sure God will time it right. So far so good.
Thats about all I have to announce. We are going to try to have invitations out by this weekend, but nothings certain. It's coming us close now. I got to run. Work to do. Love ya's - Eric
PS. We had a great time in NJ; I got to see all my old friends(Carolyn, Julie Burt, Abbie, Jer, Scott, Amanda, Sarah G., Ali Buntemeyer and Aileen-which no one knows except me.); We went to dinner and then to Abbie and Jeremiah's house. Scott, Amanda, Abbie, Jeremiah, and some others are planning on coming. I missed some other friends... Barbara, Sarah, but no worries. Anyhow, a great time with Beka. It was a treat to see her every morning. I love that girl so much. I really do. I wouldn't have anyone else. She's the best.
