A send-off to a friend and then some

We didn't have classes last Thursday so here's what I did to pass the day. Hehe (Klao-chan! The pics are also here. You can get them anytime.)

I went to UP this Thursday to visit a few people I've missed for the past few months. And since I'm going there anyway, I passed by Trinoma to see what's all the fuss about this place. I didn't enjoy it at first since I'm going alone (which is a bit pathetic really). But I found this store where I found the perfect bag to fit Neo, my beloved laptop. Though I have to shell out a few (*cough*a lot*cough*) bucks to buy it, I still think it was worth buying. Anything for my beloved Neo! hehe And I wanna go back to buy that green iPod earphones for my green shuffle. I lurve GREEN!

So after traipsing around Trinoma, I headed towards my previous boarding house, the Pink House, and went to greet the people there. Too bad my former landlady, Ma'am Luna, was in an accident so she's in a wheelchair now. I hope she gets better. It must be hard going around in a wheelchair, especially is she still has to teach people Spanish. Anyways, I spent time greeting and hugging people as well as telling tall tales about being a teacher. Gah.

Of course, being an earning individual, I am subjected to the ritual called 'libre'. And since Klao-chan
certifiedotaku is going to Japan for an exchange-student thingy, I might as well treat my friends to dinner. (Actually, they are the ones who want me to eat dinner since according to them, I'm getting thinner already.)

So off we went to the neighbor, err, I mean Chateau Verde for dinner. It was a fun affair. I miss them already. Hehe I miss playing tennis with them, surfing the net, having anime marathons until late at night and talking about our favorite tv series. Gah. I wish I could go back to college but I can't. Gah. Hafta work for a living.

Before I left UP, my friends extracted a promise from me to visit more often and they gave me an advanced B-day/X-mas gift! Wai! The complete season of Queer as Folk! I had been searching for it for ages. Hehe

So Klao-chan, I'm really gonna miss you and I hope that you send pics (as well as stuff) from Japan. Keep in contact ne? We could always use the lj for these kinds of stuff. Take care there and hope that when you return, we can finally build that Maids' Cafe you've been dying to go to. hehe

So here are the pics. Too bad I was so caught up with the conversation that I forgot to take pics of the food. Argh.
