Sights of the Day: {in chronological order}
1. Chubby young boy sitting inside the Swim & Tennis Center reading alone at a table while all the other kids frolicked by the pool. (Greatly enhanced by the smell of eucalyptus when i got outside.)
2. Mom and young daughter walking fluffy, furry dogs while the younger brother rode behind in one of those tiny cars made for children. The car was bright yellow with red flames up the side.
3. Very pale man with dark body hair and sweat on the back of his shirt standing on the corner taking his heart rate. I had seen him power-walking earlier.
[Calabasas has a bad rap. I like the suburbs; the characters are delightful.]
