The Horror, The Horror

The last three week's I've been on a loosing trend as far as my weight goes, however, remarkably enough over the weekend I managed to gain all that weight I lost back. I feel really really disgustingly fat. I decided to try and go back on South Beach Diet like what I did a while ago and it worked. At breakfast today I had an omelet. I hate eggs. I just don't like them for some reason unless they are full of cheese and drowned in hot sauce and salsa. Unfortunately Salsa is a no-no for phase one of South Beach. So hot sauce on an omelete - omelete in general was seriously one of the most disgusting things I've ever eaten in the dining hall.

And in what has now become my Tuesday ritual, after Air Pollution, I head back to the dorms, run a load of laundry and go hob-knobbing off towards the pool at Sunset Rec. I layed out for about an hour, read some Sophocles, went for a swim with Heather and came back. I swear, today after spending a mere one hour in the sun, I have gotten so much darker than all my previous pool endeavours combined.

I went to dinner and was totally turned off by the food. They had some pita bread pizza thing that looked really good, but I couldn't eat it because I 'm now on South Beach, at least until I get to my ideal prefered weight. Anyway an hour after comming back from Dinner I went to the Wood to work out. I finished reading Sophocles while on the exercise bike. Afterwards did some crunches with an exercise ball. Wierd thing: I did like 100 crunches on a ball(which is pretty typical, if not quite on the low side for me), stopped to take a breather and was hit with quite ppossibly the most nauseating pre-emptive migrane that I've ever had. I was so dizzy, unable to walk properly or stand that I ended up just going home without lifting at all... highly unusual.

So now, as the title alludes, I'm sitting at my laptop watching Apocalypse Now! Redux. Love the Movie, Love Copolla, Love Joseph Conrade, Love HEART OF DARKNESS.
