My iPod and other delightful tidbits to tickle your fancy.

So today, not as eventful as yesterday, but I'm not gonna complain.

I got two voicemails from the apple store today about my iPod. The first one said that they restored the software on it and put it on a battery test, and that according to the test results, restoring the software apparently solved whatever problems it previously had and that it was ready for me to pick up "at your earliest convenience." So I leave my room real quick to read chapter 5 of Josh Kilmer-Purcell's so far amazing book "I am not myself These days, a memoir" and come back to find another voice mail on my phone. This one, again from the apple store said something to the gist of they made a mistake and to disregard the first message sent early. Then they went on to say something like my iPod failed the battery test, and that its so banged up that all they can do is give me a replacement. Now, they stopped making the Mini a while back which makes me wonder if they're going to upgrade me to the video or downgrade me to the Nano. Either way, I sort of liked my mini... good size, not to big, not to small, not gonna get lost all that easily. So essentially, I'll be perfectly happy just getting a replacement Mini. However, if they are going to replace it with a different model, I'm not gonna be all that happy if I end up having to pay extra to upgrade to the Video.

Later in the day, Aya and I go to the wood. (AKA The John Wooden Center) to work out a bit. So I introduce her to the wonderful world of lifting for the first time, and I think its safe to say that I made a Believer out of her. Kind of hillarious though, watching her lift for the firs time. Although I'd do longer sets than she would, and when she would finish her set and I'm still in the middle of mine, she'd turn over and look at me, and make me start laughing and make me loose count of my number of reps. Also ran into Stan, Romano and Benny.

Still no word from Collegehumor. Kind of starting to assume the worst by now.

Alright, three page essay on Greek Trajedy due tomorrow. Must start working on that now.
