It will stretch on to infinity and infinity!!

Supposedly it is coming back this month? But I am wary about that whole "End of Part 1" part... end of the finale? (in which case there better actually be some ANSWERS) or end of the first half of the manga? (in which case... I don't even wanna think about it.)

Before it does that, it'll spiral into destruction and end up bringing all of us along with it. I don't think I can bear to see the manga live on and fall to that level of depravity!

I always tell myself not to hope too much for the manga's continuation or expect it to make much sense, but arrgh, it never works. In any case, I'll...just pretend it's a series of very pretty artworks, or something.

(sorry, skipped this response, too many replies in my inbox oi oi)

Oh no no. It will introduce a NEW, POINTLESS ARC. About the twins processing the idea and making the triangle (dodecahedron?) more complicated.

I like DN Angel for the moments where it looks like it could be epic (namely the Daisuke vs. Satoshi while also total HoYay and family curses bit) but it can get disappointing if I think it's always going to be that amazing.

Still a little better than Weiss Kreuz though, which falls into "Great premise, awful execution where fandom's the only thing that makes it good" territory. ;)

oh lord, i can just imagine that happening. ghastly thought, isn't it? i've personally never cared much cor the twins' role/presence in the story, since all their stories revolve around is their love life and impede other kinds of plot development that is actually, a ton more interesting. family history plz!

sigh, dnangel is close to that already though - for all the occasional brilliance the manga exhibits, every time is goes on a hiatus or 'reset's the story, it takes a step back and bring us back to square one. pfffft. if you're interested, ninjangel and i had a pretty intense discussion over at her journal a couple of entries down the page that you can go over (behold our depravity!!). if you are interested, that is.

It's horrifying, I think I will go insane. you know, I like Risa since she's gotten at least some decent characterization but I efinitely agree - there really isn't any reason for them to be in the story outside of keeping it over the thin line of being completely shonen-ai-esque. I do think Risa's going to end up with Satoshi, but I don't like, hmm, the "convenience" of it I guess. For either of them.

Aw man now I am going to be reading stuff ALL MORNING. Look what you did! It's actually awesome that I get to read more fan's opinions, as far as I could tell any semblance of DN Angel fandom was dead and deader. ;) I agree on the reset issue though, even though I'd almost say that Satoshi's the only one that's progressing, and that's largely due to him going into suicidal mode and/or possibly merging with Krad, given some of his even more off-kilter behavior in the last arc and how he confronted the guardian statue in the Argentine arc.

Oh yeah! And I have to believe that Sugisaki at least knows where she's going / how she wants to end it, even if we never actually find out thanks to all these hiatuses because I've caught some serious foreshadowy-moments here and there and yes, Daisuke totally has psychic dreams whut.

Being too attached to this manga brings about a lot of emotional turmoil, darling. And yet we still can't tear ourselves away. My grip on sanity is shaky at best when I talk about series, or how it is inside my headcanon lol. Rough and tough love, this one is ( ... )

Oh no kidding - I go crazy trying to figure out what the heck is going on sometimes and the fact that the reveals are so darned vague (what is a tamer? Is Dark really part of Daisuke's DNA like his superego or future!Daisuke or a monster or both or is he really Daisuke's ancestor in DNA form attached forever? WHO KNOWS.) In my headcanon it makes more sense and involves happy endings and stuff.

It's funny how I love Risa more than I do Riku now? Yeah, I feel that way too. At the beginning they both had a ton of personality but more and more Riku just kind of gets struck playing the damsel / love interest who is... just there. At least during the Argentine / Insomnia arc Risa actively fought back and tried to understand things, whereas during Insomnia Riku was ~under control~ and wasn't even really aware of anything ( ... )

Sometimes I am torn between wanting a small intimate fandom where everybody knows each other and between one where there are a lot of fanworks but an equal amount of trolls/haters. Guess we can't have both, but I'm happy enough that I have people to fangirl this over with ( ... )

It worked out well in Weiss Kreuz (or arguably the later years) fandom, but the thing of it was that fandom ended up being in my mind waay more impiortant and creative than the actual series could ever be. So I wouldn't mind that with DN Angel at all. Especially since DN Angel still has so many holes that she hasn't explained. @.@

I agree - I want answers and I want answers NOW and unless (arguably) the girls end up being some kind of keys as they kind of sort of not really were as in the Anime, there just isn't much for them to do. Especially Riku, and her finding out is just going to lead to ~Relationship Dramas~, I can tell.

Haha - I love Satoshi, he's up there with Conrad Weller in terms of Super-Mega-Favorite Anime Characters (which is a little below Kurama and Quatre Winner, but those two are special cases) but I admit that the boy's just emotionally stunted. Umm hmm lemme see going back to the wayback machine I can kind of see this train of thought (as well as that Satoshi would kill himself now before he'd hurt ( ... )

I wish I could have more faith in the mangaka the way you seem to have, but after seeing what she did with two other series with so much potential ( Lagoon Engine & Lagoon Engine Einsatz ) I can't help but fear for my dear little series :(

The author is entirely too fond of the female characters and the romantic setup that we invariably never stray too far from it - and the story 'resets' itself after every arc. Which irritates me to no end. I'm just not very interested or invested in the girls??? Sorry if it seems feminist of me to say that~

Kurama, as in from YYH? Love love love ♥

/ugh i have so many frustrated feelings over this WHERE IS COHERENCY OR WORDS ANYMORE I CAN'T SUMMON THEM UP FROM THE DEEP DARK ABYSS OF MY HEART

Mm, not faith. Idk - acceptance? Resignation? I don't even know if we'll GET to the ending I tell you!

I don't mind the girls, they just don't add anything. Which is a pity, since Risa was pretty darned useful in the Insomnia so maybe, eh, Idk. If I want to read super-awesome females, I go for Fairy Tail or Utena or something.

Yep. <3 YYH although it is scary that I swear to goodness a good fifth of the cast is flat-out sociopaths. Although I never liked fandom!Kurama because he was always nice and Kurama is... very sneaky and sometimes amoral. That's what makes him interesting. (Also if you've never seen Kyo Kara Maoh simply b/c you didn't seem to recognize Conrad - TRY IT. IT IS THE BESTEST FANTASY SERIES EVER.)

Ahaha ;.; I am sorry. I kind of just try to look at the good arcs and then throw out wild theories. At this poitn I think we are better off making up our own ending of DN Angel. Mine involves Satoshi kind of going Krad-crazy and the Black Wings waking up and lots of angst followed by h/c.

Fairy Tail was too much....and once I stopped keeping up for a while, I can't find heart to catch up with the newer chapters orz. Utena is amazing though! And it's ironic how you mentioned it, because everybody is having Utena-nostalgia from the new anime this season under the same director ( ... )

(I'm trying to keep up with replying reaally really)

I actually like Fairy Tail all right but after a certain point it's just like "o okay. boobs." It's one of the better shonen series though, just for lack of filler. Really love Ao no Exorcist right now. <3 ( ... )
