While I realize that the ecomony needs a boost it kind of makes me uneasy to see basic civil rights treated as a bargaining chip. I don't know. I'm sure that's not the point of the article.
And as I drive more I remember just why I stopped practicing driving in the first place. I have no depth-perception and my peripheral vision is really bad. This means I can't park correctly or do right hand turns. I can turn left just fine, though that's less about seeing and more about instinct saying "STRAIGHTEN OUT THE CAR OR YOU WILL DIE!". The funny thing is that my vison test says I have 20/20 vision in my left eye and 20/25 in my right. So I should be able to see just fine. Uh, no. Wrong. Add to that the fact that every now and then I go blind for no reason other then I can get my eyes to refocus and the blinding cluster migraines I get about five times a day because of that refocusing probelm and you've got one girl who will probably crash today on the interstate. If you see a mangled wreck, give a little wave. It might be me.
