Length: Headnote (concise, 1.5 pages max)
Scope, state of the literature, trends and developments

Summary
5 pages max - however long or short
How you got there, issues, why you chose between many encyclopedias or whatever
Criteria
Some of that can be briefly stated in annotations
Review sources (did any of them disagree?)
Don't need full citations for sources that didn't make the cut (just author-title)
Discuss web resources!
Database citation (squirrely!) Full title, publication years, pub. place/ publishing company, update info (assuming you can find it)

Cooperatives
Monetary value for insurance
Weak/strong
Collection development policy
Get to know your collection
Including looking at what is circulating and dust test

Cost/benefit ratio - justifying your spending
Data for grants and donors

How?
Data can be pulled from systems - OCLC, assessment programs
User feedback - surveys - can become longitudinal
Get hands-on with collection (time-consuming but valuable)
Questions like: does volume count really say much?
Interdisciplinary collections are spread out, hard to assess
