(no subject)
After having a little meltdown over my idiocy in getting the due date wrong for an assignment (only by a few hours, but still I had it done early so just....grrr!) and generally freaking out about how little I have gotten done on the huge CD project from hell. I was thrown off the original plan by family...um...circumstances, and I just never recovered. I have learned something valuable about myself as a worker, though. I still suck at unstructured, large-scale projects. Moreover, I suck at getting work done when I am not on at "work", which plagues me as a student. I may have to ask for an extension, or at worst drop the class and take it over. This quarter was supposed to be pretty good, but it didn't turn out. I was on my way to an emotional meltdown before the thing with my sister. But I'm going to give it a last-ditch try.
Anyway, with that piece of whining out of the way, I'm going to try this again with the new checklist I made and maybe this will get done.
As an aside, it still fills me with glee that there are bands out there combining traditional Irish music with punk rock, and that Agatha has finally set eyes on Gil again in Girl Genius. (Which you should all go read, damn it!)
