Pet trauma
We moved Quistis to Seattle - she spent most of today hiding under the bed at Theophan's apartment. I think the car ride seriously upset her. I feel like a bad, bad person now. She is making tentative little ventures out into the apartment, I am hopeful that once she sees the hordes of birds in the backyard she will cheer up. She did finally climb on the bed and snuggle me and purr. Of course then she went right back into hiding. We are going to see how it goes, and if she adapts we will keep her with Theo and probably get her a kitty to be friends with. Mir is gunning for us to move into her building after the wedding so our cats can have play dates.
I still miss Dyna. I don't think I am ever going to get over it all the way.
I'm worried about my snake. He has been acting jumpy if we try to touch him. He actually coiled his head back and shook his tail at me yesterday. I've never seen him do that tail thing - I thought only rattle snakes did that. Mom takes good care of him, his cage is clean, he is fed, and he seems healthy. Mom thinks that he may be not eating enough. She noticed that the mice we get from the pet store have been getting smaller and less developed. He's not big enough to eat rats, though, not by a long shot. Anyone know anything about this? I'm mostly looking at Maru here >.>
