“’Cause I’m burning up!” Jake yelled at Billy.
“Yeah, ‘cause you got the hots for Bella,” Billy muttered under his breath. “It’ll be over soon, Jacob,” he comforted in a normal volume. “Do you want me to get Sam over here again? Lord knows I’m not much help.” He grumbled again, looking down at the peanut butter and jelly sandwich he was making.
“No. No. God, no.” Jake groaned. He couldn’t stand another several hours of Sam’s lecturing. He knew this wasn’t a game, but Sam wasn’t his father.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, I’m sure! Just…leave me alone!” he shouted.
