“And?” he prompts, holding back a boyish grin.
“Well…Alaska!”
He just sighs, staring out at the brilliant sunset on the icy horizon.
“I like it here.”
“Do you?” she asks, almost rhetorically.
“Yeah. ‘Course, the sunsets are incredible.”
“That’s why I stay.”
“Seems I luck out then.”
“Huh?”
“You’re the only thing more beautiful than this sunset. And I get the both of you.”
“You’re cheesier than Edward.” Still, she grins.
