“Hey, hey, Edward, shhh.” Bella leaned against his back, resting her cheek and tracing small circles on his shoulder blades.
“Bella, you know I’d never say anything like that.”
“I know. It’s okay. Here, let me distract you.”
On her toes, Bella leaned up and brushed her lips against his earlobe. Edward felt a shiver tear through his body and he immediately turned around, pushing her back on the couch.
