Review: Throughout half of this book, I wanted to rip my hair out and stop reading it. It was so darn political! I don't mind a little bit of politics--espceially in Faerie, but this was just too much. The book was lacking something the other two had, though I'm not quite sure what. It seems that ever since Wicked Lovely, the "series" has gone downhill. Ink Exchange, wasn't awful, but wasn't as good as WL, and FE just isn't as good as IE. Hopefully Marr can do better with the next one. I'm expecting some serious Keenan hotness to make up for it, Miss Marr! ;) I will say that the analogies and similes are well done still. There was lots of dragging on for awhile, too, where nothing happened (ie almost the whole book).
Worst part: So darn political.
Best part: Keenan. *drools*
