It's the whoring that's the immoral part. Homosexuals are as "just like you and me" as any other group can be. There are homosexuals whose only concern is a good one-night stand. There are heterosexuals whose only concern is a good one-night stand. I see no reason to discriminate solely based on who you hop into bed with.

I recently heard someone say "We are a Christian nation [strike one], we have always been a Christian nation [strike two] and we will always be a Christian nation until...." I tuned him out at that point, because he clearly had no idea what he was talking about. This country's first colonists were largely non-Anglican Protestants trying to find a place where they could practice their own faith in peace. Many of the much-vaunted Founding Fathers weren't Christians. They were theists who believed in some kind of god, but we'd probably call them agnostics today. This massive misconception has led to all kinds of horrible misunderstandings and abuses of power, most of them during the reign of Bush the Second. And that's because he has his own special brand of Christianity where he conveniently forgets about certain key rules in order to sway more people onto his side. So, the Republicans have started doing the same thing to earn votes. Frankly, I think it's sick.
