So, I mentioned earlier that I have this widget that allows me to update my livejournal. Well, it worked beautifully for some time, but now all of a sudden it doesn't. Which pisses me off.
Felix was married yesterday. It was a great ceremony, nice and short. Justin almost lost it when he saw Rach walking down the aisle. He ended up losing it later during the vows. He's an emotional guy. The reception was fun, too. Not my favorite music (they were playing oldies and country), but Nick (best man) and both Justin and Rachael's fathers made great toasts. Very emotional.
The bachelor party, which was Thursday, rocked. The rehearsal had been earlier that evening, so we left the church and met up at Justin's parents' house. The festivities started at the Sushi Den. There is one in Japan and one here in Denver. It's by all accounts the best Sushi that you can get outside of the West Coast or Japan. I wouldn't know, I haven't had sushi outside of Denver. It was definitely the best I've had, though. The Sake was damn good, too. After sushi and like five shots of Sake we headed for the Brunswick Zone at Park Meadows. First there was a rousing game of laser tag, after that we hit the billiards and played some even more rousing games of Cutthroat. Good times.
The next day was the rehearsal dinner, and then afterwards Bachelor party pt. 2. Felix wasn't there, but pretty much everyone else was, and we drank a lot of Mangotinis and watched Snatch. Good times.
After the wedding last night we gathered at Hunter's, drank a little alcohol and watched Invader Zim episodes. I think all that partying took it's toll because I woke up sick this morning with what appears to be the flu (a lot of nausea and achiness and whatnot), which meant that I had to skip going to Idaho this week for Thanksgiving. Bleh. It's all good, I will be able to spend it at one of my friend's houses.
