A Jumble of Roughly Written Poems

I had a great idea,
it seemed flawless, a perfect fit.
It came together for a splitting moment,
but great ideas are easy to forget.

If you can tell a story
and people want to hear
you can take them on a journey,
but you lose your right to steer.

They never know what they're doing.
But they always seem to get there ok.
You can't tell them to fix it.
They're just living today.

If you drop a brick.
It hits the ground
and goes thud.
But thats not all a brick can do.
Can you?

Roses--
A silver spoon.
and crimson lips.
moving from stem
to the hips.

If i had something interesting to say.
I would say it.
But alas, all i've got is.
"Hey."

Its on the tip of my tongue.
But I can't say it.
because it doesn't belong.
and I'm not the fool.

If I never went to bed,
I could never dream.
but if I slept all day,
I couldn't set dreams free.

A story.
It's something.
That happens somewhere.
In a thought or in a memory.
Your mind is full of them.
And I easily forget

It can be hard to speak,
when you have something to say.
But when you need to say nothing,
words come right away.
