oh fuck. i mean seriously. Last night. My skin is permanently red. GWAR!
The show was seriously SO AWESOME!!!!!! Driving to Winston-Salem was so worth it. Especially since map quest said it was a 2 hour drive and marge made it in 1 and 15 minutes. The opening bands werent too bad. Ray and I got caught outside Ziggy's after trying to get water, for like an hour. but watching the drunks was amusing. We got up front in time for the real show though. MAN! it was so packed, and people went insane pushing. I almost died against a railing, cause it was next to my neck when i got pushed up into it and lost my breath. but it was all okay! my glasses actually fell off too, and were on the floor, and somehow i managed to hit people out of the way and got them on time, they were fine! it was the most unreal thing ever. Gwar sprayed the crowd with so much blood, and slime and uck. They were incredible. It was unreal. The drive home flew by. I was so content, i couldnt stop smiling. i didnt realize just how red i was until we stopped at Denny's. HOLY HELL how red i was. and HOLY HELL how packed Denny's was for a Friday night at 3! i think a party had just let out and everyone transported to Denny's. a table of women asked us what the hell happened to us. we told her we went to a concert and she asked if we had gone to see the smashing pumpkins or something. ha. I'm totally the only kid who got Gwared then took the PSAT the next morning! and it wasnt cool at all. im like a red zombie today. and i have to work. how lame is that?my skin hurts from scrubbing and its still there. my manager will be curious.
