I had my blood draw this morning. They also take your blood pressure and I got tsk-tsk'd by the gal doing since it was high. Duh.. I'm Fat and out of shape! What the fuck do you expect? Now leave your opinions to yourself and stick me with that needle. I'm not sure how accurate it was since they only had a smaller size cuff and she couldn't even get it to my elbow. It was read from my upper forearm.
Overall, I'm feeling disenfranchised with everything. I wish I could just take a year off and go away somewhere to get squared away. In reality, I would probably just settle for a nap right now.
Daydream time over. Back to work. Staff meeting in an hour. The offshore guys are giving us some presentation on how things work over there. I know how things work. We are forced to give them projects. They fuck up the code. We fix it. Repeat.
