Lunch is more delicious when served with irony.

Over the weekend I managed to get off my ass long enough to pick up some paint and get the wall along the side of our house painted over. Sixty-seven feet of wall, six feet high. It took a few hours to paint. That cinder block really sucks up the paint. However, it did cover up the graffiti in one coat. I have a half-gallon left for when they hit again. I should take bets on how many days it stays clean.

Yesterday I got to re-live the root scaling procedure all over as it was time to do the other half of my mouth. Of course, now I have two sides of my mouth with the anti-biotic stuff bugging me. It's hard not to pick it out with my tongue. My appointment was at 1pm and my Hygenist, who should be scolding me for not flossing regularly, told me how she had just had a bag of plain and a bag of peanut M&M's as her lunch. Lunch is more delicious when served with irony.

I've been going through some of my crap around the house determining what might be collectible or worth something and putting it up for auction on ebay. We used to do a lot of sales a few years ago when Beth sold a lot of old magazine ads. She had picked up a large lot of old magazines from a used book store that was going out of business and reaped the profits. People buy the strangest things. She had one guy who would buy anything with a tuba in the ad. She had freaky people that would buy pantyhose ads. So now were going through boxes we haven't opened since we moved over three years ago. I figure if we haven't needed it over the last three years, do I really need to keep the stuff? Last night we went through a couple boxes of pint glasses I had collected over the years. I had over 100 and I'll never have use for all of them. I had always wanted to display them on a wall somewhere, but thats probably never going to happen so off they go. I saved some to use as everyday drinking glasses and recycled the mish-mash of other normal glasses that were in the cabinet.
