Living situations have been finally straightened out!

I'm in the process of moving things out of this house that I'm staying and moving back into my parent's house. It's a little bit gut-wrenching, because I really hate the idea of, what seems to me, like going backwards. But, if I'm working for quite a bit of money (for my age) and I can't even split an apartment in this damn area with someone, it'll have to do. I'm still looking for a couple more roommates and split a two-bedroom apartment four ways; once I find the other two (assuming Patrick is going to be able to move out x_X), I'm good to go.

My mom, of course, had an ingenious idea. She is moving my sister Sarah (14) into the room of my sister Jessica (18) and letting me take over Sarah's room for a small fee ($100/month), while they share a room (to their dismay). As much as I want an apartment, this is actually a great setup for me. It's a fraction of what I pay now (which is already substantially low), and it allows me the benefits of living at home. As long as I don't get too comfortable, I'll be fine. I mean, my parents are pretty lenient, but I can't do laundry at 3 AM or anything; after all, their room is down the hall from mine. But I can eat for free and all, and I don't mind my parents too terribly much, and I can save. So, I get to live there for probably a good few months (maybe more, maybe less) and get an account going. I miss having thousands of dollars in the bank, after all.

Why doesn't this area have studio apartments? An affordable studio apartment would make life so much easier.
