merry thanksgiving
yes i know... i haven't updated in awhile. but not much really fascinating going on. andrea is over right now eating FRENCH ONION SOUP!!#@$!$ i love that stuff, my mom made it fresh, with the lil crok pots and provolone cheese... MMMMMMMMmmmmmm
i love my baby girl... anyway...
missing out on parties this thanksgiving, boo... but i know some damn fine xmas parties will be happening. i haven't gotten around to doing much at home. well i have had some VERY VERY productive nights... but they are sparatic. so this holiday i'm going to kick back and unwind at the house.
i just got a Performa 6200CD (shitty old mac) but it's soul purpose is to give a graphical front end to my sampler. i'm thinking about testing out some midi sequencing on it as well. i've found some very nice old school software for sample editing/midi sequencing and the like. i love having an older machine dedicated to one thing, and the mac is much better than any old PC for audio work. it frees up usage and space on my main machine.
i've even thought about installing suse and using it soley as my desktop OS for my main box. that would be nice to serve my audio/sample library with shaw in chicago... i'm thinking about it. it's been a long time since i've ran linux as a my primary os. just because i need applications in windows. though i use ALL open source software for my daily use... open office ,firefox ,thunderbird ,gaim.. blah blah... it's just much better software as commercial applications, highly stable, and i love supporting open source software. it's such a viable alternative.
as for thanksgiving, we are eating late, 8 tomorrow. CAN'T WAIT TO STUFF MY FACE!!#$@$
