Drinking coffee only steals time from your future self.
BUT
The body's ability to draw credit and pay it back (with interest) is a wonderful ability when design project deadlines loom.
The last few days have been difficult, not least when at 5:30am I clicked the wrong button and overwrote 4 hours work. I'm immensely proud of myself for the fortitude shown in uttering but a single audible vocalisation of my frustration. I would say that completion is cathartic, if not for the fact that catharsis is one of the less literally pleasant metaphores. A change is allegedly as good as a rest, but flying in the face of proverbs I think a rest is probably more useful than getting straight back into the dissertation, exams revision and coursework that has been forcibly neglected in the last month.
Oh, and here's a problem for you maths aficionados out there :
If 40% of a group have only 60% of the time to produce 60% of the group's total output, how unfair is that? :)
