TIFF Red Carpet for Parkland aka, I saw Tom Welling!

On Friday, I was lucky enough to be able to go to the Red Carpet for the film Parkland, staring Zac Efron, Tom Welling, Paul Giamatti and more. This was the first time I had been to this type of event. The crowd was there early and it was very large, all anticipating the arrival of the actors particularly Zac Efron. As the car Tom was in drove by, ( Read more... )

What a wonderful write-up of your TIFF experience! I love your pics, and I'm so happy for you that you were able to see Tom (not once but twice!) and his new film, too. I'm so excited to see Tom acting again, and on the BIG screen! I can't wait to see his performance. I appreciate so much how you shared your impressions without giving too much away. Your review is perfect.

That's very cool that the director was at the screening you attended. I've really enjoyed the perspective he has shared in various interviews, and I'm intrigued by his unique style of filming, which evidently was new to most, if not all, of the cast. I'm very curious to see how it all plays out onscreen.

Tom looks absolutely amazing in all the pics I've seen of him at the premiere, and yours are no exception. He's so deliciously tall, and he looks so handsome in his suit. How sweet of him (and Zac, too) to give as much time as he possibly could to his fans, and he truly seemed to enjoy interacting with everyone. I especially love your second pic, with Tom on the move, and the excited and happy crowd all going crazy for him in the background.

Thank you so much for sharing this very special memory with us. We've waited for over two years for this moment, always faithfully and mostly patiently, and now it's finally here. Our boy is back! ♥

He is back and more gorgeous than ever! I still can't believe the weekend played out like it did. Better than I could have imagined particularly when I was unable to get Parkland tickets when they initially went on sale. Parkland would have been on my to see list even if Tom wasn't in it. Him being cast was a huge bonus for me plus I loved his performance in the movie. Now I patiently wait to see what is next after Draft Day!
