My cousin Freddy got married in Key Largo this weekend. i have to say that this was one of the best weekends of my life.
hanging out with family is definitely one of my most favorite things to do, and i have a feeling it's because im getting older. my cousin albert (who is the same age as me) sat on a bench for a few hours, late at night and just talked. we're a lot a like it many ways. we talked about music, family, life issues, and even drugs. we gave incite on the concept behind a lot of music and suggested some bands to each other. we also talked about how it's gonna be up to us to keep the family together, once the sisters are gone and the one's that take over the are our parents as the elders.
i smoked some weed with two of my cousins, and im convinced that my uncle smokes lol, which he found out that i did the other night.
"i'll just say i know why you got so fucked up last night, and it'll be a secret between me and you"
i got fucked up all weekend, it was just amazing. i wish i could describe this better but for some reason i cant. watching my dad act more immature than he usually does in front of family is always funny to watch, and to just watch my mom act immature in general is a trip lol.
on another note, i finished reading the rum diary by hunter s. thompson, and i have to say that it was absolutely amazing and definitely a great read. im gonna try to finish house of leaves next. thats a crazy book, you just have to look at the layout of it, it's insane.
i've also gotten better at playing bass in the last couple of weeks. ive also got 2 A's in my summer classes, and im loving my major more and more everyday. im really glad that i found something that i love and good at to do for the rest of my life.
