Incoherence:
We had a performance each night, from Wedesday to Saturday, and each one went wonderfully. It's a bit upsetting that it's all over now, because it was great getting to know everyone involved with it.
The first performance was alright. A bit nerve wrecking because we weren't really ready & I had to take a leak real bad. Second night was just as good, except this time I had some food & I knew where the toilets were. Third night we had two performances - a matinee for all these little shits that didn't want to go to class & the big one, Friday night, for people that genuinely wanted to see it. Nicole came, which was radical. I like Nicole a lot...
...Saturday was wonderful also!
We had the cast party after the show on Saturday which was a real hoot. Danny, Nick & myself got some dude to buy us some cheap, nasty cigars & stood outside doing what men do best with some drama guy... I think he's a teacher. I had a few games of hacky sack, & generally enjoyed life and stopped worrying about all the work I've had to do lately, which was a welcome change.
Hung around until about 1:30 & realised that it wasn't so much fun anymore because most of us had left already, so I walked the streets listening to Chopin for a while (late night walks with Chopin's Nocturnes have become a favourite pastime of mine), before finally heading home.
All in all being a part of the school play has been a wonderful experience. Though I came in relatively late I think I've learnt what school's really about, and I made a lot of friendships that I wouldn't have made otherwise. I'm going to work a little harder from here on in, and stop slacking off. The performances themselves were particularly beneficial - $2 cigars & hacky sack are a surefire way to this man's heart.
The end.
