A group of really clever miscreants participated in the largest identity theft scheme ever, but they only stole one identity, The Japanese company NEC. That's right, they faked being an entire freaking company, had it produce products for them, and marketed and sold the items for millions.

Illegal, but damn, those are some very clever and ballsey folks.
