okay, what the fuck stonybrook? how come no one, not a professor nor an administrator can be mildly helpful. everyone who i speak to, every email i receive - everyone is so arrogant and too busy. "This is clearly stated on page 27 of the University Bulletin" OH jeez, sorry I haven't kept up with the bulletin - you could have just said no. Everyone who works there is a snide schoolgirl at heart ! Regardless, I am figuratively shoving a broom up the ass of anyone involved in the art department at Stonybrook by taking all non-art classes. I am still in love with my schedule for next semester even if I don't get to take printmaking- I replaced that with Phonetics. Which is exciting because A, it's a linguistics class and B, I get to work in a lab with a computer with sound clips and analyze them based on the sounds of words. I don't know, I think that sounds more indirectly inspiring than an art class anyway. It's really just such a hassle the way I've had to be on the phone with them for the past week. And now, just to get my AP credit into the system, I have to DRIVE to Stonybrook and hand them my grade report- just to get out of this one writing class that would ruin my life. I just can't wait for my schedule to be set, and not have to worry about it for the rest of the summer. Otherwise, besides school and work, things have been swell. M.I.A. tomorrow ! Santogold sometime next month and Aesop in August - I'm set for the summer as soon as Stonybrook is taken care of.
