So...
This is probably not going to be a regular occurrence, but who knows.
I've been out of town for a month. This has been A LOT harder than expected. I'm not saying it's impossible to deal with, but it's just weird waking up every morning knowing that I won't see anyone I've been familiar with for the past 5-10 years. That's life, right. Now I'm glad to say that I'm taking part in the growing up process for my 2 nephews that are furthest from where I call my hometown. My brother and sister-in-law are great. They go out of their way to make me feel at home and comfortable.
I've been watching a lot of news up here, especially the Natalee Holloway case. Let me just say that I feel so bad for her family and friends because for the Aruban gov't to have slipped up the way they have is downright unfathomable. I truly hope they find SOMEONE guilty in that case. God Bless Natalee and her family.
A young teacher (24-year-old) from Florida is being accused of having sex with one of her students, a 14-year-old boy, at least two times. Didn't the Mary Kay Letourneau trial teach us anything? Well this lady pleaded insanity instead of going with the guilty plea bargaining which was something like 3 years. If they do not find her to be insane, she could face up to 30 years in prison. I guess some people just don't know where to draw the line.
I've heard that a lot of things are/have gone down in the valley. "Hurricane Emily was lame," said Rod. RGV just wasn't satisfied with the miracle snow. Now they're fighting off hurricanes. What's next, guys? "FUCK THE EARTHQUAKES!!!"
Leave comments because it'll keep me busy for at least one day.
P.S. It's good to know that I'm living in one of the Top 10 Cities to Live. I've also learned that this place is the #1 Place to Reinvent Your Life.
