AUGUST.
just booked my flight back to vegas! going at the end of august for a few days with muriel and carla. should be a fun trip. i kind of didnt want to go since i just went but i have to do SOMETHING to celebrate the end of summer!! :]
went out last night with deedee and jen sear. we went to Sashi then Shade then headed over to hermosa. it was an okay time. in the cab ride home at the end of the night, i texted BEN telling him that my bouncer at Sangria asked why he hadnt seen us there together anymore. i hadnt talked to ben since i broke things off through that text message more than a MONTH ago.. anyway, he texted back and he was being REALLY cute. he said he deleted my number to stop himself from texting me and that he missed me and some of his friends had asked what happened and he was sad to have to tell them. then i told him that i was feeling insecure about the two of us and he said i should have talked to him about it instead of just breaking things off. then he said, "so where do we go from here, jen?" and i said, "i guess we'll hang out and see how things go" then he said, "i GUESS isnt a good answer. im not a charity case and if youre not sure about hanging out then we shouldnt".
i was so surprised by his forwardness. him and i have never had the kind of relationship where we actually TALK about our feelings and all of that. thinking back he DID try to tell me how much he liked me and what it was he liked about me once or twice but it just made me uncomfortable so i changed the subject. anyway, he said "we need to talk" and that he was out town til monday so he would call me then.
i guess i'm going to try to be as open as i can be with him. almost every boy i date has the same complaint. they always say that they cant tell how im feeling and whether or not i like them, so i obviously need to work on that. it makes me sooo uncomfortble to have those kind of talks but i guess its the only way things will work out.
in OTHER news-
there's a possibility that i'll be going to hawaii next month with the family i work for! that would be AWESOME since ive always wanted to go!
other than that, im working a ton this week. things are still good with Kit. if the talk with ben goes well, who knows what will happen.
