A Better Love

Been a while since my last LJ. I guess things have been pretty good on my end. Nothing really exciting happening at work. Things have gotten off to a slow start here at work. A lot of the projects are already being pushed back due to failed requirements gathering. My relationship is still going pretty good with Sonia. She is def a blessing at this point in my life. Last 2 weekends the weather has been raining and cold so we have stayed in. 2 weeks ago my friend Desree came to visit which was a bad idea due to ice storms and more bad weather. She really hated her trip up here and I felt bad but she knew the weather was going to be bad. Sonia and I did go out to Minc that Friday to see DJ Chole at Minc. Great show. She didn't play her full 3hrs due to the fact she lost her CDs but she was able to get some of her tracks of a remote server and played a good set none the less. I will come back later and post some pictures. It was a good night as I got to hang out with some my girl, good friends, and some great music to go with all of it. Haven't had one of those in forever.

The past weekend we met up with Greg and some of his friends on Friday out in Fort Worth @ Jack's Off the Wall. It was a b-day dinner for him. I have to admit the place kind of sucked major donkey balls. First they burned some of our appetizers. I ordered a New York Strip medium well and they brought out a piece of rubber. Damn thing was burnt. Sonia said her meal sucked as well and to top it all off I paid 60 Bucks for our meal. Oh yeah and it gets worse. They had a band playing that night and wanted us to pay an extra 7 bucks for that. I'll probably never go back there and if I do, I plan to burn the place down. Sat morning we did some shopping at Northeast Mall, lunch at La Madeline, Costco, Krogers for Flauta material, Wal-Mart for a Blender, and then home. We took a little nap and cooked Flautas later that night. Sonia is a pretty damn good cook and I love me some good food. I stuffed myself with Flautas and rice. Sunday we went to watched Mavs Vs Heat at Staceys and later went to Mass. After Mass we went to Sonias and later to her uncles place for a cookout. I got a chance to see the Colts vs Patriots game. I wanted the Colts to win so bad. It was a great game and hopefully Manning can get a Super Bowel ring.

As for the title of the thread its a track by Rocco called a Better Love. Its a nice house track that has a very ambient feel to it at times with nice female vocals. The driving beat makes it even way better. Haven't really heard a lot of new music lately and I might buy some new tunes today off Beatport.

Till next time.....
