Just thought some of you might like to know what has happened recently. It's been about a week now, but last Thurs. my nephew went into the hospital with leukemia. They have poked and prodded him, and even though the situation isn't good, it's the best that can come from it. He's got the most treatable type of leukemia; moreover, it's not chronic, so it won't come back; even better, it's not in his spine or brain! He started chemo-therapy on Mon. He's doing great. He'll be tired and weak for the next few months as he's taking chemo, so the next few months are very important. We expect that the chemo will reduce the leukemia by 99%; hence, into remission. Then there will be about 2-3 more years of light chemo to ensure that the leukemia is gone. If you read this and you pray, please pray for Benjamin and the rest of my sister's family. She is expecting a third child in a few weeks, so life is really crazy for them. To see some pics of him on my site:
