(no subject)
Soooo...I just got an e-mail from the DAAD people...they don't want me. No Bundestag for Susan. *cry* I suppose it's for the best though, I'm not sure my German would have been up to the task. It would have still been really really cool though...
This means I'm going to have to change my plans for this summer/next year. I have no idea what I'm doing now. I still want to intern somewhere, but I don't know where. And I want to study abroad somewhere, either Germany or the UK, but I don't know when. And it changes my scholarship/housing situation. I'll probably be gone have the year next year, instead of a couple of months. And I many not be able to do an independent study now, which I was really looking forward to doing.
Oh well, I'm sure it will still turn out good, it's not the end of the world. After my interview (which went horribly), I kinda knew it was coming. But still...
