Roman de la Croix has left the CATS fandom
So... Roman de la Croix has most definitely left the CATS fandom. I'm not entirely sure what I feel about that. We had some quarrels, since we have very different views on what makes a good fic (I was into quality and very anti-Mary Sue while she thought you should push the limits as much as possible and preferred her stories NC-17) and I considered her a nuisance because she refused to take in my point. And now she's... gone. Reviews she's left on my stories have disappeared, she has asked to have her fanart and spin-offs taken down from the OFUC website, and her account on ff.net is no more. It's quite certain that this is because she's been in a fight with Nabooru, another canon protector in the fandom who also has a very popular CATS forum. Roman did apparently show up on this forum and behaved very... rudely.
Later on, Roman and a few of her friends posted Mary Sues on ff.net. They called themselves the Society Against Dictatorship In Cats (S.A.D.I.C.) and wrote blatant and horrible Sues to prove some sort of "point." The point was not proven in the least, (unless it had been that they were all very immature and stupid) and most of these stories are now reported and taken down. What annoyed me the most was that four out of the five authors in their end Author's Notes asked me to PPC their Sues, because they were "annoying as hell." Yeah. That won't happen, and I have multiple reasons why. Not only have I better things to do with my life that write stories to give these authors more attention than they've already gotten, but I think the whole idea is childish and flat-out stupid.
It's going to be a bit easier to be Ekwy now. But it's still odd not having Roman around.
School starts tomorrow
So, since good ole Brännkyrka is going to be renovated this year, its Behavioural Science students, yours truly included, are going to spend their final year in gymnasium in St Erik's. That is, from going to a school with 300 or so students, we're now in one with around 1700. We were showed around in it last Friday. It's huge. Our classes have a corridor to ourselves, thankfully, so we don't have to know our way around to every classroom, but still.
New schedule includes English C (yay!), Philosophy (yay!!) and Religion (yay!!!). I'll get lost tomorow, I just know it.
"Anything Fiercer" is updated
The Rumpus Cat fic I posted the first chapter of a while ago has been updated. I named it "Anything Fiercer," after a lot of thinking. Here it is.
Ekwy has new icons
Behold! I fell to the charm of the Potterpuffs. They also have Eddie Izzard jokes on them, so I simply could not resist. And the Marquis de Carabas one... Mmm. It's not bad at all. I shall be eternally grateful to Moons for it. *pets Moons*
