Handwriting Meme and thoughts on Eurovision.

Was tagged by elfie_samurai ages ago. My digital camera has been low on battery, so I didn't take a picture of the thing, which I have to do since we do not own a scanner anymore. So. Now I'm doing it! =D Complete with extra Swedish papers on how to get funding for Uni education there on the side, just in case you not-Swedish speaking folk were wondering. Which you probably weren't.

1. Your name/username.
2. Left-handed or right-handed?
3. Fav letters to write?
4. Least fav letters to write?
5. Write "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog."
6. Tag 5 people

Yes, my handwriting is exceedingly messy. It's even worse when I'm being lazy. But hey! I can read it, and that's what counts!

And now for serious business. Yes, I am talking about Eurovision. Since Sweden gets completely wacko round this time of year, it's only fair that some of it seeps out into this blog. Nowadays Melodifestivalen is stretched out into weeks and weeks of increasingly crappy music until the big finale in Stockholm where the winner (Sweden contribution to the whole thing) is chosen. Now we've had the first contest. Two winners were picked there, and they will go to the finale automatically.

YOUTUBE CLIPS
1st finalist: Amy Diamond - Thank You
My thoughts: Disturbingly catchy tune. And look how cute she is! All tiny. You can put her in your pocket. (She's gonna be sixteen in time for Eurovision, so she can legally participate.)
Would she have a chance? Oh, who knows... It's bright and bubbly pop, and she's cute. She'd probably end up at the top five, but I don't know if she'd win.

2nd finalist: Christer Sjögren - I Love Europe
My thoughts: WTF IS THIS? Creepy old man on the telly! He looks like he might hit on Amy Diamond after the show. Gross.
Would she have a chance? I sure hope not. He freaks me out. It feels too much like he's sucking up to the entire European population.

MEANWHILE, THE AWARD FOR BEST ENTERTAINMENT GOES TO... Björn Gustavsson The first half can be seen even by those who don't understand Swedish. The history behind this is that earlier in the show, Björn got the mission to write a poem about love. And that was what he did. XD

(Of course I am biased when it comes to Björn, because he's a friend of my dad's. This does not mean that he's not funny. But if he breaks up with his girlfriend, Gecka and I have called dibs on him already. So there!)
