No Time to Chill, part two

Long overdue update:

So yeah, I found out there is the possibility of passing Calculus. A good one, in fact, assuming I do well on the Final.
We'll see how things work out. The way I see it, spend extra effort now, so that I don't have to spend that effort during the summer.

So this summer, if I pass calculus, I'll take English Critical Thinking and an intro to Unix class. If I don't pass calculus this semester, I'm going to take it in the summer instead, but that will screw up everything... *sigh*

Not exactly the relaxing summer I planned, but I figure I get like a month-ish after this semester before summer classes even start, then I have a few weeks before fall classes start. I hope that will be enough time for some rest and relaxation. At the very least, some serious gaming time.

I just hope I can make it though these next few weeks. This week is gonna be pretty insane with 2 tests on Thursday (one of which I forgot about until today), and 1 test on Friday. I also had a program due Thursday, but I finished it already ^_^
Next week should be interesting. It's what I secretly call "Oh-shit" week. It's the week where some teachers try to rush through the rest of the material before finals week (last semester I had so many projects going on during that week). It might not be too bad this semester. My teachers seem to be on top of things (or at the very least, probably willing to say "Oh well, we just didn't get to that").

I'm doing great in Programming and Physics. I have an A in both. I'm not sure, but I think I overheard my programming teacher say that we don't have to do the final if we have done all the programs. If that's the case, KICK ASS. I might do it anyways for kicks, because I'm weird like that.

That's about it. I'm just hoping I get a C in Calculus, because I know from experience that summer math classes are hell.

I'll leave you guys with a little something that occurred today, which made my day.

So, I'm in Physics, and Michelle is sitting in front of me.

We're talking about rotation and energy. The teacher asks us a question (one of those tricky, you have to really think about it, questions). He then says, "Talk to each other about it."

I sort of lean back in my chair so I can chill until he talks to us about it (I'm so tired by then, because I have just spent the past 4 hours focusing on Calculus, at least half of that is homework).

Michelle sort of bends over backwards in her chair to talk to me, face to upside-down face (I guess it takes less effort that way). She says "What do you think?"

Barely awake, I respond "Hmmmm?"

She sits up and turns around, and says "Talk to me."

Now, note that I don't want to think about the problem, really. So I say "Hi."

She's kinda annoyed at this point. "That's not what I meant!"

I'm laughing so hard at this point, and probably have the attention of some others around me.

"You're an asshole." she adds.

I laugh a little harder for a bit, then go back to relaxing until the teacher explains the answer.

school, funny
