OH FUCK YES!

It's raining. When it started, bascially my title was what I was thinking.

If you weren't aware of it before, I love the rain. It's colder, the sun is barely out, I like seeing raindrops racing down windows, and hearing the sound of raindrops hitting surfaces (usually roofs). I love the rainy season(s) because it typically means one thing: No more shitty summer weather!

I might not be so happy about the rain on weekends though, since I'm working outside (though there is a covered area that I'll likely be in most of the time). I did get a jacket, which I havn't needed to use yet. I think the yard people will also be getting beanies soon enough. I'm pretty sure that's something the manager told me during the interview. I should be alright about working in the rain, since I walk home in the rain sometimes... so... multiply that by 16 and... XD I'm gonna get soaked! Just kidding. If worse comes to worse, I can probably even use a real raincoat. I guess I'll ask about that if it becomes relavent.

There's actually another very good thing about this cold weather: Panda slippers! Yep, that's right, most awesome slippers EVER.

So yesterday was the "Day against DRM", and I, ironically enough, gave a complaint-style speech about DRM and informed the class about what DRM is, how it affects them, and why I hate it. It went fairly well. I had difficulty saying "copyright" at one point for some weird reason, but other than that I think I spoke fairly well, although I probably could have done much better if I had more time to give more info. On this speech, after the main speaker speaks, someone is picked to do an impromptu speech about the topic. The guy who did the impromptu after me was, unluckily for me, probably the only other technically competent person in the classroom and is in favor of DRM (and used to be a software developer)

I guess that's it for now.
