In case anyone cares...
The semester is nearly over. Just this week (finals) left and I'm free for a few weeks (my summer school courses start June 19th, I think). Note: if you want to hang out or something, those precious, limited few weeks would be the ideal time as I can't guarantee I'll be free to do things after that.
On Friday George and Jeff came over. George played some Half-Life 2 while Jeff and I did other things like play Super Smash Bros.
Then we went for pizza. We had lots, so we called Laura and Victoria to join us. Then we went around to places like the Marina (where Victoria walked around in the sloshy, parasite-infested mud) and Borders.
After that George came over for a bit to play more HL2 and to borrow Doom 3. While he was playing HL2, I was playing God of War (Seriously, you have no idea how satisfying that game is to someone like me). I'm hell of happy that God of War II will be out on the PS2 even though the PS3 will probably be out about the same time. (I'll save any other video game comments for my late official unofficial post E3 entry, after I finish watching the Sony Press Conference in HD!)
Saturday I went to the archery range and shot my new bow (I guess I havn't mentioned it before, but yeah, I have a bow now... maybe I'll take pictures of it later). It still needs quite a bit of adjustment, but I didn't have an Alan tool on me there.
On Sunday I went to see We Won't Pay! We Won't Pay! at DVC. It was a hilarious play. I saw it with George and his family. His Grandma from Russia is visiting and went also.
I didn't have any finals today. I can go to English for a few minutes tomorrow and pick up my essay (I probably will), but other than that my actual finals start wednesday (Programming, Math, Philosophy) and finish up on thursday (Physics).
I have a few days left of school and then I'm free for a few weeks. I hope to finish a few things (games, books, etc) before that time is up.
Also, I don't know what, if anything, I want to do for my birthday. I don't really want to have a party (no cakes or presents - though people could always get me something if they wanted ^_^). I just want to see friends and eat pizza or something. Maybe I might do the whole Rankin park thing again so I can get lots of people together (maybe even people I havn't seen for a long time). Another thing I was thinking was perhaps having a Matrix-athon (since I have all the DVDs and bonus DVDs now and havn't watched them yet). Problem with that is that there isn't room at my house for such a thing. If someone has a decent-sized/big TV and plenty of room that would be willing to have people over to watch the Matrix movies preferably on June 16th or around then, let me know. If not, I'll just have a Matrix-athon with a few people later.
What do you guys think? And, when are you UC kids out of school for the summer?
