OMFJGAJKDL:ASKDLASKD:LA i am copping... yes, "COPPING" this dvd as soon as it hits the stands!!
I NEED, i THIRST, i HUNGER for extras!! It better be a 2 disk special!!!! Okay so i'm a little late on the movie
because I was still wrapping up the last book.... but honestly I can say that the movie was "so so"
I mean I knew it couldn't beat the imagination but I decided to give it a go with absolutely NO expectations!
I know most people expected alot out of it only to be not dissapointed by the fact that their dear Edward Cullen played by
Robert Pattinson, would grow on them. Honestly when I heard that Pattinson (aka Sedric from Harry Potter) was casted as
Cullen, I was like.... "WHAT?!!! He's not even that cute!! >_<" but then he grew on me in the movie. He does a really good job
harboring that weird, eerie yet hotness that is Edward Cullen. I still have a hotter version of him in my head..... but let's just let
the imagination low key for a second.
If I had to rate the movie I'd give it a 7/10. I learned after Harry Potter, that I should watch movies based off novels in the point of view
of an audience that has never read the book. If I never read the book I don't think I'd be half as interested in this movie as I was.
Sure the characters are enticing either way, but it just wouldn't win me over like the book did. Actually I'm not that big of a
"vampire" fan. I never watched Buffy...... don't watch True Blood or whatever vampire shows there are. In fact vampires scare me.....
I'm scarred for live because I watched this one episode of Are you Afraid Of The Dark as a kid and it scared the living hell out of me.
Sure these are 'modern' vampires but.... yeah, my point is I'm not much of a vampire person. The thing that entices me is the
portrayal of the Cullen. Carlisle, who is supposed to be the adoptive father of Edward, is supposed to be painstakingly GORGEOUS in the
book. I have no idea who the actor was for teh movie, but I kept thinking the entire time that he looks like Tom Cruise in his prime. hahaha
Overall the movie was okay. It had a very "indie" feel to it for some reason but I think it did fine.
As for Breaking Dawn.... well I'm just waiting for Edward's point of view to come out! I think that will be interesting. The series stopped
effecting me after New Moon to be honest, but I definitely admire Stephanie Meyer's work and am looking forward to another new
title from her! Hopefully along the lines of an Edward and Bella story.... but maybe not vampires. Either way I still want to live in
Forks, Washington. I freaking LOVE RAIN!!
