When you love somebody, it's so hard to let go. You don't want to let go. I don't want to let go...YOu love everything about them...their smile, their humor, the way they laugh, the way they kick ass at hockey, the way they make you smile and laugh...the way they make you feel. It's so unique and it's something so special that you don't share with anyone else. Why do we have to give that up? Why? I find myself asking that question and there's no logical answer...
It's amazing the effect someone can have on you over a period of a year...helping you up when you've been stuck at the bottom for so long, giving you the strength to reach your goals and to stand up for yourself along the way...it's amazing what one person can do for you. It's amazing that they even came into your life because you ask yourself so many times "why me? Why do they want me? Why do they love me?" You don't understand...and yet love is something so complex that you can't comprehend it. Love comes in so many shapes and forms that there is no formal definition that will fit the word.
Love is just amazing...and when you find it, PLEASE don't let it go. I did...and it's the worst move I've ever made...
