your mom goes to college
O.K. So I've always known that my husband-to-be is a geek, but today I think I truly realized the extent of it. While watching a special on VH1 about Star Wars, he says the Imperial March (sp?) song still gives him goose bumps to this day. Then, jokingly, I ask him if he wants to walk down the aisle to it at the wedding, and to my amazement he says yes. I even made him pinky that he was serious! This is the epitome of geekness. Is there anybody out there who is a non-geek like me and has never even seen Star Wars all the way through? I mean, I just learned last month that Darth Vader (sp?) was Anakin, and that Luke was his son! (I know I'm gonna get shit for that last statement!)
Anyhow, I GRADUATED!!! I now have my master's in physical therapy and a new job at Star Physical Therapy. Can't wait to move out of this apartment and focus on the fine details for the wedding planning now that school is out of the way.
Fun times last night...got to hang out with the usual crew as well as talk to some FEMALES. Since I've just recently moved here, my only friends are Jason's friends, who are all male! Its nice to have girl talk and do girly things every now and then.
