Bakuman is very informative of the sequential art creating process, if nothing else. But it is more, and that's what's cool about it.
I'm reading Bakuman because I have no heart to do yet what I think I have to do: junk out what remains of 14K words out of 40K, and rewrite in another POV, my Dino's or Jana's. And if Jana takes POV, more gets junked out because I have to write her into key scenes.
Essentially, I'm junking out 90% of the work from 28 days.
That is depressing, majorly.
