My name is Ernest Kay Macmillan, and I'm a great, lopey oaf who doesn't pay attention to when he leaves his things in plain sight of people he should not because he's too busy worrying about the NEWTS, etc.
Honestly, big brother- you should have learned by now. You'd best be glad I left your latpot where it sat.
With love,
G
Oh Georgette, Georgette, Georgette. Whatever shall I do without you? Mother shall be very happy to know that yet again you've found it amusing to use my things without asking. And while you may not be on the journals proper, I also know that you are acquainted with people who are, and thus that you'll get this message. Our parents have been warned. Their wrath shall not come lightly.
Well. Apart from my sister being quite the little kleptomaniac, I must say that this week has been utterly horrendous. We're all familiar with the situation that has just recently occurred, and much speculation, etc. has been going on already. Needless to say, Madam Pince is not amused by the sudden upsurge in library traffic, but what's interesting is that already our research has garnered much more than the glimpses into the previous prophecy. Admittedly we have more hands than before, but it certainly bodes well for this mystery.
NEWTS looms ever closer, and I've been trying to increase my study in preparation. I believe I'll be holding some homework and problem sessions starting this coming week, so if anyone is in a panic, we can all put our heads together and try to assist one another. I know I'm shooting for "O"s in everything save Transfiguration and Charms, which I will be expecting "E"s on. Please, tell me when any of you who want to can get together and we'll start studying valiantly.
