So there won't be any Roadtrip to Milwaukee. Me and Zach were discussing it during some Metalocalypse-watching and came to the conclusion "If everyone else is still down for it, we'll do it". First Lori came home and it became more unlikely. Then we found out Casey got a trip on the Ferry, so he wasn't going by car with us. On top of the tickets costing an unknown amount, splitting th gas pbetween the three of us would suck (we're all poor). So we're not going now and that does suck quite a bit. I do feel a bit releived that we won't have to chance my car going there without incident, but it'd been worth it.
Well, I guess in other news my plans to move out on my own is looking bleak. I currently have $20 saved, and by the end of the month I'll likely have $400. I figure I'm going to at least need $1000 by December to make it work, and I really think that's not gonna happen. I'm still planning on trying to get enough extra in my loans to do it, but I need to get officially accepted at GVSU before I can even apply for them. So now I need to look into the dorms I guess, and that is unpleasent. I don't want to move into a small room with another person I've never met. Most likely he'll be like every other 20-ish college kid and sleep all day and drink all night, probably throw up on my bed, and then ask to borrow money. I'd be better off living in my car!
Pokemon and Anime totally own my free time. If I'm not working or hanging with Zach, Casey and Lori (and often during) I'm starign at the DS, workign towards the goal of supreme pokemon master. At home I watch more cartoons than would be deemed healthy.Honestly I need to cut back on these things, maybe get back into doing art. I haven't started, completed or even considered an art project in about 4 months. Obviously my skills need to be practiced at least weekly in order to continue being awesome. Whenever I get the time to draw I just feel like htere's something more important to do (althoguh I never figure out what that is).
