So I've Only Been Awake For Less Than Three Hours...
About two personalized messages into the "Happy New Year" circuit, I figured that I may as well just write it in one big note.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE
It's strange though. Normally I don't like New Year's Eve because I'm either alone with my quirked-out family or I miss it all together but last night was pretty nice. I went to Rob's grandfather's place and met some of the family I hadn't met yet. They're sweet. His little cousin, Giovanna, is about 4 years old and she kept offering to draw "weird" animals on a pad of paper with a pen... Said pad of paper was being used to keep score for an intense game of italian cards. I was taught how to play italian cards but honestly the rules and concept went right over my head. I asked his other cousin, Alessia, to help me play.
But yeah. It was fun.
P.S: Erin, I'm terribly sorry I never called you back. I only got to my cell around 2:30 AM. Hope you had fun though.
