my addendum to Jon's last entry
For those of you who didn't see Jon's last entry, his grandfather died yesterday morning. He had been battling lung cancer since December 2005, and we found out a few weeks ago that it had spread to the brain. He died peacefully, surrounded by family, which is all any of us can ask for. There's a very nice obituary in the Buffalo News today.

The wake is tonight from 7 - 9 and tomorrow from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 at Kolano funeral home. The address is 396 Amherst St, near Grant. The funeral is Friday at noon at St Florian church.
He was a good man who fought very hard to live as long as he did. I wish I had gotten to know him better, but I do know we named Alex after the right great grandfather.
