Sir is attending to something this evening and he was so very considerate he left his lap top on with a post-it attached so i could hook up to the internet. :-)
You know you're still on that journey of healing when your "stuff" pops up and you can look at it for what it is and know that it's "your stuff". The over sensitive inner child reared her head over the weekend and even after being told "it's okay" my mind still had to process the whole thing and it put me in a somewhat strange mood over the weekend. i spoke to Sir about this last night over dinner and even gave him an example of how overly sensitive i used to be. It has been a long , long journey of developing a tougher skin and i don't mean that i have learned to be tough, i don't want to be tough but i don't want to cringe and feel unnecessary guilt over the smallest infraction either. AND I HAVE GOTTEN BETTER! THANK GOD *smiles from ear to ear* It has been a journey and i am grateful that i have some wonderful support, THANK YOU MY FRIENDS!
i have had the privilege of being able to spend some time with Sir this week; he is here in Los Angeles on business and has been staying Downtown. It's wonderful i merely have to cross the street from the hotel and catch the DASH to work. i said to Sir that i want to live Downtown all the time!! Downtown Los Angeles is booming with lofts and has quite a few restaurants oh yeah it also has a full service Ralph's market which is fairly new as well so you can actually do grocery shopping. Yes i do love Downtown Los Angeles and it will always have a special place in my heart.
The best part of it all is that i have been able to spend time with Sir during the week which is really special as he is in San Diego all week for the most part. It has been a TREAT! Arf, Arf & tail wags!!
